The scuplture, entirely made of iron, has been placed at the centre of a monochrome soil wall with a rough finish. Finely embroidered trapezoidal lacework, mineral florescence which tell us, through a contaminating flow of images, about the imaginative universe of Claudio Onorato’s art.The frame is a work of art and no longer a container. A small hole in its centre invites spectators to their take place, be part of the installation, hence completing it and bringing it to contemporaneity, allowing them to be portrayed as in a “selfie”.
Soil and iron in dialogue with each other take to the limit their essence, the former, mother, envelops with its beauty and texture; the latter, child, reveals itself for its richness and precious handicraft
